The Studebaker and Supercharged Studebaker humbuckers are medium output humbuckers. They are not quite as hot as the Tyler Secret, but still round in tone like all James Tyler humbuckers. The Studebaker and Supercharged Studebaker have lots of bloom in the upper mid frequencies, making them an excellent chording pickup. We recommend the Studebaker for a clean and smooth country or jazz tone or for smooth classic rock and hard rock tones.

Each James Tyler humbucker uses the highest quality, low capacitance 4-conductor lead wires, made of 18 strands of individually silver plated oxygen free copper wire, and then insulated with Teflon. The insulation does not melt when you solder, and the wire won’t hum when you touch it.
