Classic Series Jazz bass pickups are designed to sound like the best from the late 50's early 60's era with more output and balance. These are smoother and warmer with a stronger low mid punch as compared to our Clone Series CBS Jazz Bass pickups. They come stock true to the era with alnico 5 magnets, black fiber bobbins, and vintage spec heavy formvar wire. Carefully calibrated so that the neck, and bridge are balanced in volume and character. The neck pickup is clear while the bridge pickup is RWRP to achieve hum-canceling between the two. The bridge pickup has excellent output and punch. Both pickups are wound to vintage spec with a little more beef on the bridge pickup especially.

Classic Wound for Tele are modeled after vintage Tele pickups to be a lower output with sharp attack and lots of clarity. These are stock with staggered alnico 5 magnets and formvar wire. The neck pickup has a nickel silver cover rather than brass to allow for better musical qualities. The bridge pickup has that classic twang with a strong punch and a vintage correct copper plated steel base plate. RWRP when combined for hum canceling. These are extremely versatile those who want a very balanced mid-range and good sustain.
