"The fretboard is probably the most abused part of your guitar. Not only from playing on it, but also from sweat and dirt. Keeping it clean is vital for preservation and playability. Rosewood and ebony are the two exposed woods on guitars and basses that always need attention. The oil we use conditions the wood and seals it from sweat, hand oils and dirt.
