Tiki Tone Hello- thought I'd attach a couple of pictures of the amp project I completed with your products. I live in Hawaii and play steel guitar at a lot of luaus, and have always wanted one of those old amps with palm trees on the grill cloth. I built a new pine cabinet for my Princeton Reverb, got a vintage speaker and modded the amp back to Black Face, then got the tolex and hardware to finish the project from you. It came out great. I cut a couple of holes in the baffleboard and wired up flickering candelabra lights for the flaming tiki effect. I was afraid the light bulbs might cause static in the amp circuit, but they don't, and every show I get coments about it. I always tell people just where I got my materials -- Mojotone Thanks and Aloha, |
