Great RnR speaker. Using it with a 50 watt Mojotone Deacon. The speaker has clear highs with nice mids and to me a perfect low end. I would recommend this speaker to anyone playing RnR.

Back in the 80s I bought a couple of original 1968 Marshall 412 cabs, equipped with the original Celestion G12M speakers. As used by Hendrix, Van Halen and others, these are often thought of as the holy grail of speaker cabinets. Wanting to emulate that tone in a smaller box, I recently embarked on building my own single 12 cabinet and began searching for a speaker that would emulate that vintage tone. After reading some reviews on the Mojotone BV30V I decided to give it a shot. Upon completion of my project, I was very pleasantly surprised at just how much the sound coming from my homemade box sounded like my old Marshall cab. It had that same earthiness, tight but forgiving low end, warm mids and sparkling highs - everything I love about my old Marshall cab, but at a more workable volume. Some reviews said that it would be a little stiff at first and warm up over time, but I found it to sound great right out of the box! Overall, an exceptional speaker at an affordable price!
