Mojotone Slammins Cabs are the cabinet you didn't know you needed until now. These fantastic cabinets were designed to be easy to transport, take up less space on stage and work like a monitor so you can hear yourself better.
Players are discovering that not only is the Slammins Cab® designed to be approximately 20% lighter than a traditional 1x12 or 2x12 cabinet, but that it’s unique design also allows the player to better hear their guitar rig. We chose to pair this cabinet with a mix of one Mojotone BV30H and one Mojotone BV30V to cover a wide tonal spectrum. We recommend this cabinet for 50-100 watt amplifiers. Sounds great with a Marshall JCM 800/900, Orange Rockerverb, 5150.
null I got a chance to try my brand new Slammins 2x12 today. Loaded with the H30/V30 combo & here are my first impressions.
I think it's awesome! Sounds excellent with my JCM800 style heads. It will be perfect for my band room.
I compared it side by side with another 2x12 that I really like & I'm going to try to sell a couple of my other cabs and buy another Slammins 2x12.
Depending on the venue, I could see using the Slammins 2x12 as my only cab on stage and mic it if needed, or larger rooms I will use my go to Marshall JCM800 halfstack that always fills the room with awesome sound.
I will be curious to see how it sounds 40 or 50 feet from the stage compared to a standard straight 2x12 or 4x12, but on stage there is no question that the Slammins will rule.
The design is excellent with the side handles, not to heavy, not too wide & a full size amp head will fit on top and the speakers are perfectly tilted up for you to hear yourself really good.
Thanks man!
