I have building Guitar amplifiers for may years now. I basically built mostly Fender's and Marshall's. The quest for finding the right speaker for the amp is tricky and can be expensive. You read a lot of reviews and hope they are accurate. I feel this one is right on. I have quite a few of my reference Fenders from 60's Black Face Fenders to modern Marshals like the JVM410H. I have a large collection of Guitar speakers dating back to the late 50's and I test a lot of my amps with my collection. I was hesitant on getting the G12M-65 Creamback, because a lot of people review them as spiky and harsh. I am very happy to say the Creamback in my experience is a warm, articulate and very 2nd order harmonic rich speaker. After trying it out with severamplifiers and guitars, like Gibson and Fender. this speaker is a real winner. I highly praise the new Celestion G12M-65
