they just don't make' em like they used to

There are a couple of problems with this part - neither of which should be attributed to Mojotone because there aren't many of these lighted rocker switches around anymore. . - The first problem is that its a bit too fragile for use in vintage style high voltage Marshall amps..DO NOT solder wire connections to this switch, soldering will destroy this switch..use only spade/speaker type connectors attached to the wire leads. The manufacturer should make this perfectly clear. Second problem is the internal lamp is much too dim..In most normal light settings its difficult to even discern if its glowing or not..they just don't make' em like they used to
This worked fine for me

This switch works fine, just don't overheat the lugs. The 5th lug is the light. The enclosed directions suggest wiring the SW and 5th lug together, but this will depend on how you're using the switch. Building the 50W 800 head, I wired the 5th lug to the NW lug for the light to turn on when the switch is flipped. Otherwise, following the enclosed instructions will hotwire the light to be on any time the power cord is plugged into the wall. This worked fine for me. Looks cool, too.
