"...if you want to get as close as possible to vintage Gibson humbucker tone, the ’59 PAF Clones are a great way to go." -Guitar Player Magazine, May 2014

The 59' "Patent Applied For" Clones are for the tone purist. Authentic to every detail using all American made parts. 1959 spec butyrate bobbins, 1959 spec long leg frame, custom vintage spec plain enamel wire, custom alnico 4 cast magnets, maple spacer, vintage spec screws, and vintage spec slugs.

These are very clear and warm with lots of single note articulation. The upper frequency range has exceptional bloom and lots of airy tone with the un-potted coils. We meticulously wound each coil with our own pattern and offset to represent what we believe to be the best vintage P.A.F. examples out there.

Stock with vintage single conductor external braided leads and 49.2mm string spacing just like the originals. Un-potted coils.

Thanks for making me love my guitar again!

by Tom -

I recently purchased my first Gibson Les Paul, after playing Fenders for years. I wanted to love it, but I couldn’t dial in the pickups for that warm/woody tone I heard in my head. I replaced the pickups with the Mojotone (regular wind) 59 PAF’s and the guitar now sounds exactly how I hoped it would. I can’t put it down. Thanks Mojotone!

Balances, woody, great bloom, authentic flavor of PAF goodness

by James -

Gee whiz, so many good PAF's on the market where do I begin. I'm fortunate to own a few original PAF's and have owned most of the boutique PAF's on the market. And when you listen to original Bursts, and PAF's you develop a few preferences when you hear great examples. I'm looking for even response from tight lows to crisp highs without hollowing out the midrange. I want clarity, definition, and a woolly bloom to the notes with just the right amount of pre microphonic ring that makes the notes sing or scream. I like to hear a 'woody' midrange. I don't want a flabby low end or any mud. Both bridge and neck are outstanding! And after doing some extensive A/B testing, with some very dialed in guitars over the past week, these pickups are top notch in every regard. Just wanted to pass this along
