Anthem 10" 35 watt 8ohm speaker

by Michael

Purchased a pair of the Anthem 10's to replace a couple of re-issue Jensen P10R in a Fender 2x10 cabinet. The Jensens are a great speaker but IMHO the Anthems are better match for my Tremolux amp and a better fit for the tone I'm looking for.
Tighter bass, better defined mids and smoother highs and they aren't even broken in yet!
Very good value for the price!
Thanks Mojotone!

At last!

The Anthem 10 is an amazing speaker. It's the speaker I have been waiting for. Along the way, I have tried Oxford, Weber, Jensen, Eminence, Celestion, WGS . . . Finally the Anthem comes along with just the right recipe: frame, magnet, voice coil, spider, cone, dustcap. Bright enough, not shrill. Solid enough, not boomy. For black panel era Fender tones, I've not heard anything better.

I have three black panel clones: a Princeton Reverb, a Deluxe Reverb 2x10, and a Vibrolux Reverb. All three are now loaded with Anthem 10s. I also have an Anthem in a brown panel Princeton clone.

I have put these speakers through their paces at home and I have used them on gigs. I couldn't be happier.
