Guitarist Dustie Waring, of the NC based progressive metal band Between The Buried And Me, worked closely with Mojotone to create his extremely versatile signature pickup, the 'DW Tomahawk'.  Dustie knows that heavier music has plenty of delicacy and requires a pickup that can aid the guitarist in achieving this. We use superior quality Alnico 5 magnets along with our special winding technique to give the 'DW Tomahawk' the power of a high output humbucker while breathing with the clarity and articulation of a vintage humbucker.

The new 2nd Generation 'DW Tomahawk' is the same wind spec as the original, but Dustie wanted a few tweaks to make them a more versatile choice for all types of woods and guitars. The result was astonishingly perfect. Both the neck and bridge pickups have less pronounced mids, clearer and more balanced lows, with a slightly warmer top end to allow the amp and effects to do the final perfection of the tone shaping. It's a pickup that doesn't require you to compromise your settings, but rather emphasize them with absolute authority and tone.

F-Spaced is for the bridge position only. All neck pickups are standard spaced. Choose F-Spaced for E to E string spacing wider than 2 inches at the saddles. Choose Standard spaced for anything 2 inches and under.

Got the bridge position for my goth explore. LOVE IT!!! output states 16k, I was getting 16.2. amazing string to string blending. Can push it hard and it sings. Would highly recommend. And turn it back just a bit and it cleans up great without muddying up like the stock pick up did. I had EMG's in my other guitar, and these sound way better
