Mojotone Greyhound 12" 70W Speaker 8 OHM

I read recently that tube preamps are very high impedance which is typically what’s desired for acoustic piezo pickups. I then began searching for a high headroom speaker to replace the Mojotone America Vintage AVC12 that I originally paired with my Mojotone Tweed Princeton (btw, this was a ton of fun to build and sounds loverly!). Mojotone recommended this speaker and I couldn’t be happier! The amp took the quack out of my cheap acoustic’s pickup (which was my main goal) and the speaker allows me to play at reasonable levels without distorting. It’s a very odd rig but Mojotone made it work. Thanks, guys!!

I was building a 2x12 and wanted something a little different than the typical v30 that in most high end metal cabs. I paired a greyhound with a BV-30 and the tone is absolutely amazing. I couldn’t be more satisfied. Will definitely be buying more and testing different combos in the future.
