The "PW Hornet" humbucker is specially designed to provide a wide variety of progressive tones from pristine cleans full of
warmth to heavy leads and chunky chord voicings, without going mushy on the lows or harsh on the highs. The girth and clarity of its coil tapped tones combined with its dynamic pick attack response make the "PW Hornet" a well-balanced and extremely versatile high-output humbucker

Thanks! I figured I would drop you a line and let you know I feel about the PW Hornets. In a word-AMAZING. I don't what kind of witchcraft is involved in crafting these, but they are supernaturally responsive and articulate.
I dropped them into my brand new PRS Floyd Custom 24. The stock pickups were the uncovered \m/ metal pickups, and don't get me wrong I did like the PRS bridge pickup. It was pretty great on high gain/mid gain and cleans. However it was CRAZY high output and had kind of a sterile feel to it, not very dynamic.
The stock PRS neck pup was a bit weak and I just couldn't get a great tone out of it.
I'll be honest with you man, I'm employed by a big music retailer. This has allowed me to try pretty much every pickup offered by SD/Dimarzio/Lace/EMG.
While all of them have great products that I love, they are not even close to what you guys did with these pickups. In this particular guitar I have tried 3 sets of pups, the stock prs set, a BKP juggernaut set, and the PW Hornets. The Hornets destroyed both sets.
They are hands down the most versatile set of pickups I've ever tried. They split so well, I've been looking for something like these forever. From ultra high gain to mid gain plexi style tones and super cleans, these bad boys deliver.
The bridge pickup is articulate, tight, and perfectly aggressive. Super balanced across all the strings. I usually don't like playing leads on the bridge with a ceramic magnet, because it gets a little shrill and harsh to my ears. But these don't. Not at all. Creamy leads on the bridge.
The neck pickup! Bar none-my favorite neck pickup ever! I can get really singing liquid leads and if I attack the string harder, it responds by breaking up in all the right ways.
I was under the impression that I knew quite a bit about pickups, I've tried a ton of them and even advised others on what to buy. When I saw the the specs for the hornets I thought I had an idea of how they would sound. But the characteristics I had in my head were wrong.
You guys blew my mind with these pickups! I hope that other people find out what you guys are doing in the high gain realm, I feel like you are doing something totally different than everyone else with these PW Hornets. I plan on buying another guitar here in the next few months and with out a doubt I will be putting a set of Mojotone pickups in it.
Sorry for the novel, I'm just hella brammed about these hornets and will be hyping them every chance I get. Thanks for the great customer service and even better the pickups- -Noah
