The Hot P-90 Quiet Coil was designed for players who need a more powerful P-90 to hit the front end of the amp with more gain and bottom end punch. We were able to retain the clarity and definition of a traditional P-90 so that your tone isn't muddy or dark sounding, with more emphases on upper mid-range growl and no 60-cycle hum.
The pickup is a direct replacement for any standard P-90 soapbar rout that does not require modifications like many other hum-cancelling designs. The set (neck and bridge) is paired with our '56 Quiet Coil P-90 in the neck position for a well balanced set and excellent clarity in all positions.

null I put a set of these (hot at the bridge and std in the neck) in my 2019 Les Paul Special. Amazing. They sound incredible; lots of punch, sensitivity to playing, no noise, p90 sound. Get them you won’t regret it.

Jef Leopard Love.
I play a Les Paul Classic with p90’s. Love the P90 tone, hate the hum. I play through LOUD Marshall stacks that only compounds the noise. I tried every P90 available. I even installed the Ilitch single coil noiseless system. Non of them worked. I settled on the Fraylin noiseless but the P90 tone was gone.
My final attempt were these Mojotone quiet coils. They are the only people to get it right! I’m in love. And so are my band members. The hot quiet coil is perfect for my sound.
Thank you Mojotone.

P90 god A complete knock out! If you want authentic P90 tone but with more power, and without the ridiculous noise of standard P90's, look no further. You've come to the right place. And as best I can tell, having gone through ALL kinds of other P90 substitutes, this is the only place. (No names of other pickup companies mentioned but I suspect you already know of them). Anyway, a superb P90 with tone for days and zero noise. Currently used in a Warmoth SG through stacks and stacks of tube amps. Played really loud, too. Get 'em!
