This is a standard Fender Tele kit for 2 single coil pickups with 1 volume, 1 tone, and standard 3-way switching. Use 1/4'' diameter set screw knobs for the solid shaft pots.

  • Switchcraft mono input jack

Easy to Use; Good Sound

I have a Squier Telecaster. I wanted to improve the sound. I put in some Seymour Duncans. I wanted to improve the wiring, but I was intimidated by soldering. When I saw this, I was intrigued.

It was easy to install. It was easy to hook up my pickups. One of the pickups has the metallic braided sheathing. The instructions say to unbraid the sheathing, twist it up and then insert it. Instead I was able to solder it to the back of one of the potentiometers to ground it. It works.

The big payoff was the improvement of the sound. I mean, the improvement is noticeable even to the ear of a commoner like me. I'm not a Tone Ranger.

All in all, I'm very pleased.
