null I built a kit guitar a few years ago that I received as a Christmas gift and I love the way it plays. Unfortunately, the stock pickups were not my favorite. The guitar unfortunately became a case queen and sat for years. I've always wanted to replace the pickups but I have never found the right ones...until now. I'm not a metal player and I'm not into the active electronics. I'm more of a classic rock and blues player so the sound has to be right... and to be honest, I'm picky. I stumbled across this '58 Quiet Coil HSS prewired pickguard, watched the demo video and thought this could be it. I was right!! You have created the perfect set for my sound!! It took some body modifications though to make them fit, but it was worth it!!! This guitar has now become my main go to guitar!! Now with the pandemic, I'm considering another kit guitar build. Can you guess what pickups I'll be installing?? Oh yeah, Mojotone for the win!!!

Mr. Got my Mojotone '58 Quiet Coil HSS today from Sweetwater. I have a Squier Classic Vibe 70's Strat. After searching and measuring, I had determined that the location of the 11 screw holes for the pickguards was the same, so I took a chance that the Mojotone components would fit in the Squier's cavity. I am so glad I did. It all fit perfectly, installation was a breeze, following Mojotone's video. And the sound? OMG! I now have a guitar that has always been easy for me to play, and now sounds like one that would cost 2 or more times what I've put into it.

null First, the bad news: my LTD SN200 is not the exact routing and pickguard shape as a Strat. I got my Mojotone '58 Quiet Coil HSS today and it would not fit into my guitar! There's nothing on the site that says this pickguard fits only exact Strat shapes. So...I had to take the set out of the supplied pickguard and put it into my old pickguard, which also needed a new hole and a slightly different than normal pot arrangement. That took me about an hour, being careful not to damage anything trying to squeeze everything into my LTD.
The good news? These pickups sound INCREDIBLE in my guitar! There's so much more warmth and bottom end compared to the stock ones (ok they're cheap ESP pickups). I am very, very, very happy with the sounds, and the blend feature has to be heard to be truly appreciated. I have to tweak my amp settings to best fit these new pickups but all in all these pickups just rock. Oh yeah, and that humbucker can get a real mean metal rhythm tone too.
As far as the wiring, the way the pickguard was built, top notch worksmanship. If you have a Strat or a guitar with the same exact routing and screw hole alignment this pickguard is perfect for you. Otherwise I would just get the pickups by themselves.
I would give five stars if the site was more explicit about the compatibility of the pickguard with different Strat copies.

null I am very much pleased with the sound and tone of my HSS pickguard and it has exceeded all my expectations. I have a beautiful Tobacco Burst American Strat that I love but the Fender N3 noiseless pickups that came with the guitar were lacking the true authentic Strat sound. Once my Mojotone prewired pickguard was installed, I immediately noticed a dramatic change. The two single coils sound clear and bright with that true, vintage Strat sound and are fully noiseless. The bridge humbucker sounds fantastic as well. It's very warm, full and punchy when compared to my previous bridge pickup, which had a tendency to sound thin. And the added features with the blend knob and treble bleed are icing on the cake. I also want to mention the excellent service I received from Mojotone. My only initial hesitation in making the purchase was that the HSS pickguard only comes in white or black, which I didn't feel would coordinate with my guitar well. I called and was transferred to David Shepard (who I believe designed their noiseless pickup) and asked if I could request other color options. He said that at this time, those were the only available colors for the HSS but that I could send him my own choice of pickguard and that he could prewire it for me. David also deducted the price of my purchase to reflect the cream pickguard I had sent him. David was extremely helpful and accommodating and Mojotone is a great company!

null I recently installed this set in my strat. The install is super quick and easy, and the sound is great. The components are very high quality and the blender knob gives you a lot of tonal options. Plus, no hum!

Returning customer I have to say this is a really good setup. I wanted a humbucker in the bridge position of my strat that wasn't too dark or midrangy and clear so I could hear every string. The 58 quiet coils are just perfect vintage strat tones and no noise. I'm glad I decided to go this rout and would recommend this HSS setup over anything I've used before. The blender feature is a nice and usable touch too! I usually find myself tearing out any modded switches or push pull pots because they are impossible for me to use on the fly at gigs whereas the blender is so simple and easy to use, it doesn't get in the way of being a normal strat! Well thought out Mojo!
