Celestion Vintage 30s are GREAT!

I've had Vintage 30s in a Mojotone Bluesbreaker extension cabinet since I bought it 5 years ago. These were a complimentary upgrade from Mojotone when their "British" speakers were not available. I couldn't happier with the sound of these speakers! Clean to crunch, they deliver. So much in fact, when I recently needed to convert the cab to 4 ohms, I simply ordered 2 more Vintage 30s at 8 ohms and installed them. Even new out of the box they sound awesome, and I know will be even better as they break in. Do yourself a favor and give these a try!

What can be said that hasn't already been about the Vintage 30? I installed these in my Peavey JSX 2x12 combo (along with a total recap and fresh compliment of Mesa tubes) and could not be happier. These V-30s are what really made the difference though. If nothing makes you happier than achieving that satisfying Metal tone, then install these. And before you get rid of an amp because of lackluster sound like I almost did with a Marshall VS65R, install these first. I think you'll keep that amp around. These make that drastic of an improvement. They aren't cheap but life is too short to put up with crap sound because you want to save a buck. Save the money on something else like your spouses anniversary gift.
