This is a 3-Way Fender Custom Tele or Fat Tele style kit. Designed specifically with 500k pots for Telecasters with a humbucker or P-90 in the neck and a single coil in the bridge. It uses a 470k resistor in series with the single coil bridge pickup to give the single coil a 250k load, while giving the humbucker it's proper 500k load. Use 1/4'' diameter set screw knobs for the solid shaft pots.

I am blessed with a Tele that has an outstanding bridge pickup, but I was dying to put a humbucker in the neck. I was at a crossroads with what type of pot setup to use. All 250K? Nah, would darken the heck humbucker. All 500K? Nah, would throw off the tone of the princely bridge pickup already installed. Well, with this setup I don't have to choose. I was worried about how it would sound, but I was just floored by how well this works. Wide sweep for volume and tone. 1 is 1, 0 is 10, and everything in between. It retained my bridge pickup's tone and gave me a drop dead awesome tone on the neck humbucker. A million stars!!!
