** Winner of the PREMIER GUITAR 5-Way Frenzy: Vintage-Style Strat Pickup Review Roundup**HERE

From the Premier Guitar Roundup Review:

"...If Strat pickups were cats, the other sets would snarl. This one purrs. This ’59 Clone set may be too restrained for some, but for those who appreciate the deep, baked-in character of old guitars, this set is the one to beat."

Mojotone has cloned the original 1959 Strat® pickups that recreate the unmistakable 1959 tone. These pickups are an important part of the evolution of guitar electronics and we knew we needed to recreate them in the most ideal way possible. We copied a specific set of original 1959 Strat® pickups that really caught our attention and stood out as something very special.

Each coil is handwound to the exact same specifications. We painstakingly went out of our way to use the exact same materials and manufacturing methods. Sand cast Alnico 5 beveled magnets, vintage-spec heavy Formvar coil wire and lightly wax potted just like the originals.

These have amazing warmth and clarity that absolutely nail that 1959 Strat® sound.

Finally the Strat sound Ive had in mind!

by Paspallum -

Stunning! Believe the hype! I wanted to believe, But held my reservations until I could play the 59 clones in my guitar through my amplifier. 65 Deluxe Reverb R.I. - Celestion AM speaker
The guitar is a 1986 Fender ST62 MIJ - refinished in Nitro. The pickups were Fender Fat 50s. I'm sure the Fat 50s would work for certain guitar / amp combinations. But for me, harsh, aggressive & one dimensional. This is my best guitar when unplugged, but Id never plug it in as it was un-inspiring & nasty.
The mojotone 59 clones are compeletely the opposite.
I was hoping what I had read & heard wouldn't translate into 'dull' - not a chance! The bridge pickup is probably brighter than the Fat50s, but its not harsh & the MIDDLE pickup! NEVER USE THEM - the Clone 59s have such a useable middle pickup, its rich & warm, articilate and clear! I'll be using that pickup a lot!
The 59 clones have depth & are FULL of rich harmonics that were lacking in my previous P/ups
well done Mojotone!

My partscaster now sounds like a fine old Strat. Believe the reviews. These are beautiful.
