Perfect in a Princeton
by Emerson S
Very impressed. Using this in a Princeton Reverb. I had gone through 6 other speakers, even trying various 12” like Celestion and Eminence, but that seemed to lose the character of the Princeton Reverb. The Anthem 10 is exactly what I wanted. American voiced, highs are nice but not harsh. Great mids, and the low end is perfect, not boomy but full and tight. Great speaker.
Great budget speaker for Fender and Fender'y tones

I picked up four 16 ohm Anthem 10's for a 4x10 cabinet. I use this cabinet with a 1970 Bandmaster and sometimes with a Mesa Mark I reissue head. They are still breaking in, and with each practice/gig I'm noticing them opening up. They don't feel like they are 97dB, they feel a little softer than that. They remind me a lot of the CTS speakers in the 1971 Super Reverb I used to have, especially with the Bandmaster. Great budget speaker for Fender and Fender'y tones.
