Mojotone Hot Rod Mini Humbuckers are higher output for more breakup and creamier highs. We use a custom Alnico 8 magnet which gives this Hot Rod Mini Humbucker an unbelievable tone that works very well for big clean tones and warm distortion tones with lots of sustain.

They match very well with our Classic Mini Humbucker in the neck position. These come stock with Gibson braided single conductor. Vacuum potted coils.

This Mini-Humbucker Pickup's Output And Balance Blew Me Away!

by Eric Fisher

I had purchased an Epiphone Firebird from Sweetwater a few months ago, and while the wood build and action was pretty good (after some adjustments, of course , as for any Epiphone) I found the stock pickups really tinny. For the bridge, I ordered a MT Hot Rod Mini Humbucker Pickup - my goodness! More output, better mids and bass, treble sounds sweet and snarly, better than I expected.

I've always been a Seymour Duncan man, but this pickup blew me and my guitar friends away! Well done - glad I got one of the last of four in stock at the time. I'm surprised this mini-humbucker pickup isn't better known - but that's my secret for now, haha!

Thanks for your superlative quality and research!

ever since playing a Gibson SG with minihumbuckers at a guitar shop 5 years ago i knew i wanted a pair. I ordered the hot rod bridge and classic neck pick up combo and just finally had them installed in a Harley Benton, Les Paul style guitar. The guitar itself played well, especially considering the price point, but the original pick ups did leave a lot to be desired. that is no longer the case. These things sound amazing. I play a variety of styles of music all the way from classic rock and mellower type stuff up to modern/extreme metal - i was worried about the possibility of these not being able to cover the heavier stuff but with the alnico magnet that is not the case
