Alnico 2 Rough Cast Bar Magnet 2.5'' Long

I put this magnet in a chambered 2009 Les Paul Standard. I replaced the entire neck pup but removed the cover and swapped out the magenet on the stock BB2 Alnico5 pickup that came with the guitar. Why? The darn thing was quite bright to the point of being harsh. With and A2 mag in the bridge and a Mojo A2 mag in the neck This thing just sings. It's still brighter than my other Les Pauls but the A2 in the bridge with the tone on 6 is quite nice.

For me though the best part is neck and bridge together. Something about the mixed Mojo magnets is giving met this quack that is very nice. Alomst tele like. I checked to make sure that the pups are both magnetically and electrically in phase; they are (I have another Les Paul for that) . But the Tele on steroids tone in this guitar is surprisingly mighty!

Thanks Mojo. 4 bucks changed the entire character of this bright guitar into a wood rock monster with Bro Country twang!
