While 1969 was a huge year for many acts, the musical air absolutely rang with the sound of Stratocasters. To build our '69 Clone Strat pickups, we gathered as many vintage examples as we could, selected only the very best in terms of tone and response, and then faithfully reconstructed them so that you could have that sound too.
Each pickup is consistently wound using vintage spec plain enamel wire, staggered non-beveled Alnico 5 magnets and lightly wax potted. Every detail and manufacturing method was recreated to make these as close to the originals as possible.
Tonally these pickups are full bodied with a punchy bottom end and plenty of top end sparkle. They are famous for their clarity and shimmer that cuts through any mix with tight attack. You can expect pure sonic clarity, bell tone, and balance with each pickup.

These have that mid 1960's tone with that low 5.7k ohms wind. No peakyness on the bridge pickup like other higher wind versions. Neck is classic Hendrix with all the overtones.
I used the 10 way Freeway switch. The neck/bridge combo is great. All 3 on is super funky. These pickups are worth hearing their unused combos.
Careful adjustment of height is needed to get that sweet spot where the magnets don't pull on the strings yet output is maximum. Then they sound beautiful.

Hi M-Tone, I ordered neck and middle 69 clone pu's and I really
enjoy the quality, they have all the good sounding strat character
and the high E string not weak sounding anymore, poles not
overly staggerd makes for a nice balance on 9.5 radius neck.
Left the fat fifties pu in bridge, like this set up!
Great job Noble, nice wind. Tom
