The Hot P-90 Quiet Coil was designed for players who need a more powerful P-90 to hit the front end of the amp with more gain and bottom end punch. We were able to retain the clarity and definition of a traditional P-90 so that your tone isn't muddy or dark sounding, with more emphases on upper mid-range growl and no 60-cycle hum.
The pickup is a direct replacement for any standard P-90 soapbar rout that does not require modifications like many other hum-cancelling designs. The set (neck and bridge) is paired with our '56 Quiet Coil P-90 in the neck position for a well balanced set and excellent clarity in all positions.

Awesome pickup

Wow. These are the gold standard for p90s. The factory pickup in my Les Paul Jr sounded good but I was not happy with all the noise/feedback. Well. Mojotone saves the day with this Hot Quiet p90. Noticeably better tone and more life while retaining everything I love about a p90 yet somehow being as quiet as a humbucker. Awesome awesome pickups.

I bought one for my guitar build of a 1959 Les Paul Jr. double cut. The pickup simply sounds amazing. Nice and crisp like a p90, but with a full range, and dead quite. Been playing for 45 years, and this is one of my best sounding guitars. Could not be happier!
