Our take on a Tweed Blues Jr. Cabinet®. Our version is slightly larger than the standard Blues Jr. Cabinet. Since you won't be able to use the side mounting holes, we use threaded inserts on our back panel for extra chassis support. This cabinet comes with all the chassis mounting holes predrilled. The shell is made out of solid pine with handmade ¼" finger joints. The baffle board and backpanels are made out of 100% void-free Baltic birch ply.

All reproduction cabinets come pre-drilled for Blues Jr Chassis

Superb quality and upgrade for Fender Blues Junior!

by T. Stueben

This ist a cabinet in outstanding build quality. Really an upgrade to the standard cabinet. It is of very good craftsmanship and came flawless with its wonderful tweed dress. I love that solid pine cabinets. It is lighter than the original and also a tonal upgrade because of its solid wood construction and slightly larger dimension. Highly recommended if you love the Blues Junior. I like that amp very much so I opted purposeful for this variant instead of going to an 5E3.

Really does make a huge difference

by Chris L -

First place to start, the cabinet is a little larger than the original BJ4 cabinet, and a LOT lighter. This is probably the best thing you can do to make the Junior sound better (this and a speaker change). I noticed that the sound is a lot less 'boxy' and quite a bit more resonant (solid pine vs. particle board). Installation was straightforward and quite simple. Only thing I had to do was clear the holes for the chassis mounting screws (some of the tweed was covering these) but that was simple and is a non-issue.
Bottom line, since I was using the amp at open-jams - this is a no-brainer. Well worth the cost to improve the amp and makes a good amp better.
