Alnico 3 Cast Bar Magnet 2.444'' Long

I bought these A3's after hearing custom buckers. I through them into an old T-Top I had in the neck position of a 2009 LPS. The resutls were quite good. The Les Paul is chambered and the stock burstbuckers were quite bright and edgy. So I put in the T-Top, swapped the A5 mag for the Mojo A3 2.444" and the A3 the guitar became more woody and articulate right away. Loving it for clean and dirty sounds. Quite creamy but there edge when I dig in.

FYI, I tried other A3 mags, some original from older pups, and these are sweet. I put a mojo A2 magnet in the stock Burstbucker 2 (still in the bridge position) and it worked great. The middle pickup setting is super versatile and funky.

One last note, with these magnets it seemd that pickup height made a huge difference in tone when BOTH pickups were on. From smooth jazz to tele with and attitude from a 1/2 turn of the pickup height adjustment screw(s). Mega!
