This 12AT7 twin triode was designed specifically for guitar amplifier use as its construction has been upgraded structurally to minimize tube rattle and microphonics that are common in other brands when used in the industry's harshest environment - the combo amp.

Along with added reliability, you can expect smooth high-end, a tight mid-range, and clearly defined bass response from this 12AT7 tube. As a result of our unique testing for microphonics, balance, and noise floor, this tube can be used in the phase inverter stage of any preamp circuit. It will be a challenge to find a quieter 12AT7 from other brands.
