All up - awesome.

I have a MIJ Fender 70s Precision bass reissue that is amazing fit and finish, but I wanted to upgrade the ceramic pickups. As you know, the choices are endless out there - unless like me, you want to keep things 70s. My heroes are cats like Paul Simonon, Dee Dee Ramone and many of the great sounds on records from that era. After a look around, I found the 70s Clone pickups on the Mojotone site and figured I would give them a go. (I read that they had done pickup rewinds for Keef btw...) So glad I did - they give me exactly what I hear in my head in terms of punch, definition and grind (I'm a pick player). You can roll off the tone for a bit of a smoother vibe or dig in hard and they will respond - in a classic, passive, Fender vibe. All up - awesome.
This Mojotone pickup takes the cake

Tried no less than 15 P bass pickups through the years. This Mojotone pickup takes the cake (the two different Jazz pickups I tried were just as good). This pickup is on a Classic 50's Precision with flats. It is dead quiet and gives me that just right P bass tone. No matter what bass I play this Mojotone loaded bass is the only one where people specifically complement my tone.
