62 Princeton tweaks
by Dean@Lucas Miles -
For those who wish to or have built one of these princetons , the stock build can be somewhat bright or ice-picky sounding. To alleviate this heres a few tweaks which will give a much more balanced sound but still maintain the edgy character of these amps.
1. change the trecle/bright cap 500pf to a 220pf.
2. change the bleed cap on the tone pot .005uf to a .02uf cap
3.change the .02uf coupling cap on v1 plate , coming from pin 1 to a .1uf cap.
4. put a 25uf/25 v electro cap across the 1.5k resistor coming from v1 pin 8 cathode.
6. then to pull back the voltages on the preamp tubes , change the 1watt voltage divider resistors , 1k & 10k to 4.7k &22k like 5e3 deluxe.

Stellar Chassis & Excellent Customer Service
by Mike
Bought this chassis about a month ago, just finishing the build now. Structurally solid and fantastic machining, what more could you want!
On top of that, I was originally sent a Princeton Reverb chassis by mistake. Got on the phone with Mojotone for all of ten minutes, and they had a replacement in the mail same day, no questions asked. Thrilled with the product and the integrity shown by Mojotone, I’ll be ordering all future project enclosures from these guys, thanks!
