The '58 Quiet Coils beautifully capture the warmth and clarity of a ‘58 strat pickup with that extra fat low midrange associated with many of the best sounding 1958 strat pickups. With the Hot "Quiet Coil" in the bridge position, you get a more balanced output between positions and better sustain, for those who do not like the weaker vintage strat pickups in the bridge position. Carefully balanced in output from the neck, middle, to bridge positions, and completely hum-canceling in ALL positions!

If you have any questions about the Strat Quiet Coil Pickups, please Call our Sales team at 1-800-927-7291.

No batteries, stacked coils, or anything else associated with other hum-canceling pickups were used in our design. The result is simply the most pure and authentic strat tone possible, with absolutely no loss of true single coil tone.

NOTE: With all Mojotone “Quiet Coil"™ pickups, you never have to worry about string spacing and fretboard radius issues, or the magnets pulling the strings out of tune, and you can bend the strings heavily without ever losing focus or sustain. 500k potentiometers are recommended.

Quiet Coil Design Features:

  • Consistent scatterwound coils for that handwound tone, sensitivity, and clarity.
  • Vintage formulated Alnico magnet cores with lower Gauss levels like an aged vintage strat pickup.
  • Vintage cloth covered leads for easy push-back soldering.
  • Matched resonant peak frequency, inductance, and resistance of a vintage single coil.
  • Vintage staggered polepieces for a traditional strat pickup look.
  • No routing modifications are required to fit shallow vintage routs like the taller stacked hum-cancelling designs.
  • Less than 10 parts are used to build the Quiet Coils. Like a vintage strat pickup, they are SIMPLE!

Just received a '67 Quiet Coil wired pick guard. The wiring job is superb! I've never seen such care taken to do it right, it beats anything I've seen in my factory Fenders.

I'm really impressed and look forward to getting it wired into my Strat tomorrow to hear how it sounds.

I've just finished installing one of your pre-wired pickguards with the QuietCoil '58 set (SSS) and I'm very impressed. Not only are these some of the best sounding noise-cancelling Strat pickups I've ever heard, they are some of the best Strat pickups I've ever heard, period!

I've played at a pro and semi-pro level, and I've owned a lot of Strats throughout the years, including vintage and Fender Custom Shop, so I think I have some perspective on this subject. I hate single coil hum, and it always spoils my enjoyment of playing a Strat. I've often equipped my Strats with hum-cancelling pickups, but that's always been a compromise in tone.

These pickups sound better than my vintage-spec Custom Relic 60s Strat pickups - no contest. The noise cancellation is as good as any humbucker equipped guitar. The only quieter vintage-style pickups I've found are Kinmans, and they - well, for some reason they just didn't feel right - I can't explain it.

The sound of a pickup is one thing, but the feel of the pickup as it reacts to your touch is another thing. These pickups sound great and they feel right. I can't stop playing my Strat with these pickups installed in it, and that's the truest test of all.
