Great Voice & Clarity
by High Gain Guy -
Extended highs are very detailed and crystal clear, lows and low mids are big and warm yet remain tight. Less "bark" than typical British speakers but it's not so smooth that it sounds like a modeling speaker or a non guitar speaker. The bark is tight/rapid, not loose & chunky. The voice is great, more reminiscent of a Jensen than a Celestion but don't read too much into that 'cause it definitely has its own thing going on. Somewhat scooped, you'll probably want to turn your mids up a bit or pair with a mid to high mid oriented speaker. Very articulate and revealing, tons of clarity without sounding cold & sterile. I've been through many, many, many different speakers over the years and this one is super impressive, I'd put it in my top 4 speakers ever. 70 watts but feels/sounds like it's a ~100 watt speaker.
Magical

I've used all of Mojotone's speaker offerings for various amps and they are all high quality. For sweet silky blackface cleans, these are the top of the mountain. They also stay thick and stout for overdrive and breakup sounds. They have the warmth and bloom of vintage Jensen C12N's, the woodiness of old Celestions, and the volume and touch sensitivity of JBLs. I used to hunt down old vintage Chicago made Jensen C12N's, but I no longer have to do that with the Greyhounds available.
