All original manufacturing methods are the same with handwound coils, and wax potted coils. RWRP when combined for hum-cancelling in the middle position.

We voiced these around the best examples we encountered from the blackguard era. The neck pickup is so clear and soft with lots of articulation. The bridge pickup has just the right amount of mids with clear wide open twang and snap. These pickups really let you dial your amp in for the best possible tone.

A Keeper

by Rich from New Zealand -

I ordered the broadcaster clone neck pickup along with the 52 clone bridge. The neck pickup went in first as I was swapping in a bakelite scratchplate and for my needs, it is about the sweetest most chimney neck tele sound I have heard. A month or two later, the 52 clone went into the bridge. It's a great pickup but not quite what I'm looking for here. I'm going back online to find myself something with a little more twang perhaps a mid 60s style and will be looking at using the 52 clone bridge pickup on my latest partscaster build along with an old hofner pickup and perhaps a Jazzmaster type trem. Hope this is helpful to all the mojotone fans and future fans

Soulful BITE -

by Ken K. Cushman -

I put this pickup combination into a FENDER SQUIER TELE - this modification truly shows off the TRANSFORMATIVE POWER of the ‘52 CLONE TELE set - (I also modes 2 Squier TELES with your BROADCASTER. set of pickups - ) the “gnarly” high end BITE really comes to the fore when you turn the volume and tone knobs up - you can really feel the tickling tones of pre-distortion as the struck note hits an overdriven amp - but at the same time it’s got that rounded depth - it’s got SOUL - it becomes ALIVE - … and I REALLY LIKE , LOVE it !!!
