This is an excellent speaker. For the price you can't beat it. Quite some years ago I built and designed amplifiers and built some Trainwreck's and they turned out great. In one of them I put in a CK12 Jensen that is 100 watts. I was never really happy about it as it was somewhat harsh and has that really large voice coil which I think drives that harshness. So, I purchased the British Vintage and the amp sounds like it is supposed to. Absolutely THUNDEROUS! Thanks Mojo as I will be buying some Anthems soon...

I play guitar and have tried certain speakers and really liked the Vintage 30 speakers however felt they had a shrill or spikiness to them. After I did some research I came across Mojotone and spoke with Keith who recommended the British Vintage BV-30V speakers. I put them in a Seismic 2X12 cabinet and wow, these speakers are amazing! I play alot of hard rock and metal, but also blues and these speakers sound rich, full, oak like, and have no shrill or spikiness at all. I highly recommend these speakers, especially if you like the Vintage 30 speakers and extra noise.
