I replaced the stock speaker in my Vox AC4TVH with this BV-25M. This is the AC4 version with the separate V112TV speaker cabinet. I bought this amp on a whim yeas ago and grew not to like it. Sounded boxy and dull. Decided to invest a little back into it so I could bring this amp back to being usable. Now it's just a ton of fun to play through. This speaker totally opened it up and got me back to the tone I want. The high end is clear without having a shrill bite. The mids are very balanced throughout, also. I did end up changing the coupling caps and power tube but that was just that last little push to get me where I wanted the amp to be. Changing the speaker first did 90% of the work for me. I've designed and built several amps before but never gave Mojotone speakers a chance. I'll definitely be back for my next build.

I run this this paired with a 30h in a solid pine cab with a victory dutchess. I was amazed at how responsive the speaker is…so much fun to coax gritty organic sounds out of…very impressed…well balanced between clear and nasty…and extremely smooth…that surprised me with a GB type speaker. I’ll be buying more for sure, see ya Big C
