Criminally underrated speakers!

Got these because the late producer Jerry Finn had a combination of these and Vintage 30s in his main 4x12 cabinet, and he always got great tones on every record he worked on.

Long story short, they sound killer and much better than the Celestion G12M RIs I tried in the same cab! Much clearer, less fizzy and more (but not too much) low end. Recording this speaker and a Vintage 30 blended together, I can't describe with words how good it sounds...

I love these speakers!

I absolutely love these speakers and have recommended them on several occasions to my guitar friends.
I have a Germino with a matching 4x12 that has older uk green backs that are way $$$… I put the bv 25’s in a 2x12 for smaller rooms and to my ears I can’t tell a difference… the bv’s sound like classic rock! Robust, broken in, big round and three dimensional! I love them, especially for that late 70s early 80s rock sound… VH , ZZ Top.
